Smoked Salmon Dip Recipe

This salmon dip is definitely a family favorite, and it is often a crowd favorite at get-togethers. It is super easy to make with ingredients on hand, so we make sure to get our smoked salmon during the summers!

Smoked Salmon Dip Recipe
This salmon dip made with Alaskan smoked/kippered salmon is delicious and a special treat when it is set out to enjoy. We love this on a toasted bagel for a nice lunch.
Ingredients
- 8 oz smoked salmon
- 3 oz cream cheese
- 1 tbsp jalapenos
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1 tbsp red onion chopped
- 1 tsp dijon mustard optional
- 1 dash hot sauce optional
Instructions
- Open & drain a can of salmon and dump into a small bowl. Mash up the salmon with a fork.
- Chop the jalapeno and red onion into small chunks and add to the salmon.
- Add the cream cheese, mayonnaise, and some of the sour cream. Mix until a nice consistency. Be sure it isn't too dry. Add more sour cream to your liking.
- Optional: Add the dijon mustard and a dash or two of hot sauce. Serve immediately or cover and chill until later.
- Serve with crackers, cucumber slice, or mini peppers. It also can be spread on a toasted bagel. Enjoy!

Refrigerate any leftovers up to 3 days.
